Anthony

What’s your idea of the perfect day?

It'd start off going to a beach– it’s a good place to be with friends, relax, have family time, and be able to swim and just have fun. Then later, at night, go to parties– like down in the Chicago area. Have fun.

What’s your greatest fear?

Being old… or dying old with no kids or nothin'.

Family is important?

Yes.

You grew up in Waukegan with four brothers and sisters. If they were to get together and decide on three words that would best describe you, what would they be?

Laid back, down to earth, and happy.

Happy is something that a lot of people aspire to. You’re a young man, but what would you say has been your life’s biggest lesson so far?

That nothing's easy. You got to work for everything. You've got to work hard for everything.

What are you most proud of?

I’m not sure.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind?

Going to school and learning automotive.

Is that something you always wanted to do?

When I was growing up, cars was always something that inspired me. I’ve always focused on doing work on cars, becoming a mechanic, or learning things about cars. I hope to be able to put up a business. A car industry business. That's part of where I'm trying to get to.

If money were no object, what’s your fantasy car? The first one you’d want to own?

A ‘94 Honda NSX. It's a very old Honda sports car that was supposed to compete with Ferrari back in the day.

You’re out here doing a bit of maintenance on your car, on a beautiful weekend afternoon. After moving here just a few months ago from neighboring Waukegan, what can you say definitively about living in North Chicago?

I found a good place to rent. It’s a nice, quiet, and relaxing place– and the neighbors are friendly.
